Just add beer to this easy to make bread mix. Put some muscle into it to form a smooth dough and put it on the BBQ with a closed lid to create an oven. Offcourse the bread can be baked in a regular oven too, but it’s a lot more fun on the BBQ! This mix contains lovely ingredients like olives, rosemary and garlic with a base of wheat flour and a little baking powder. The mix is packed in a cool bag and contains an easy recipe.
In a large bowl mix the bread mix with 340ml of beer (one bottle). Knead well until you obtain a soft dough and make a loose ball.
Put the dough in a lightly greased baking tray with the smooth side up. Or make small bread rolls by dividing the dough in 6 to 8 pieces. Cover with a damp tea towel and let it rise for 1 hour at room temperature. Then put tray in a preheated oven at 190°C or in a tightly closed barbecue. Bake the bread for about 1 hour, or shorter if you’re making small bread rolls, until the core temperature reaches 88-93°C. Remove the bread from the tray and let it cool down on a wire rack.
WHEAT FLOUR, salt, olives (1%), rosemary (1%), baking powder (corn starch, raising agents: E450, E341, E500), garlic (0,6%).
